Six pupils from our Senior School and one from our Prep School attended the prestigious Young Fenland Poet Laurette Competition. Representing 2nd Form were Dadisai H, Adriana M, Oliver R, Lydia S and Phoebe T, while Nathanael W represented 3rd Form and Fred F-B for Prep 6.
The event, hosted at the March Town Hall, was filled with anticipation as our finalists eagerly awaited the results. We were delighted to hear Nathanael W awarded second place and Lydia S third place, showcasing their remarkable talent and dedication.
The judges acknowledged the substantial number of entries from a wide range of schools this year, making our finalist line up all the more impressive. Throughout the evening each pupil confidently recited their poem to the audience and represented the School admirably.
